CLA islooking to hire a Director of Financial Systems to support CLA\'sinternal Financeteam. The Director of Financial Systems is responsiblefor overseeing the Financial Systems team within the Finance department.The team oversees managing the financial features of Workday (FIN &Adaptive), which includes managing accounts payable and receivable,general ledger, budgets and forecasts, and reporting systems. About therole: Team leadership and supervision: Directs team members to performenthusiastically, innovatively, and diligently. Coordinates schedulesand team workload in alignment with CLA business demands and inaccordance with applicable laws and policies. Coaches, disciplines, andtrains team members as may be required. Takes corrective action in aconstructive manner with employees as needed. Establishes and maintainseffective working relationships to promote the success of establishedshort and long-term objectives and goals. Manages daily operationswithin closely-working team members to ensure productivity goals are metor exceeded. Ensures team is knowledgeable of all necessary areas ofapplication; must strive to constantly develop team to ensure capablemanagement succession. Builds a team and leads team member interviewing,hiring, and termination, if necessary. Ensures the team participates ineducational opportunities; reading professional publications;maintaining personal networks; participating in professionalorganizations and continued development and advancement of the team.Design and Development: Manages the development and administration ofWorkday financial system and modules using existing and emergingtechnology platforms, etc. to ensure compliance with accountingstandards and regulations. Collaborates with other departments andstakeholders to identify and address financial system needs and issues.Monitors and analyzes systems to identify trends, risks, andopportunities for improvement.
