YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS DIRECTOR OF FINANCE:
* Oversee inventory cycle counting and investigate issues.
* Perform business analysis and risk identification; spot issues, determine what needs to be done and why.
* Develop standard operating procedures and document within a manual.
* Manage a team of five accounting and finance professionals.
* Use Epicor software to manage enterprise resource planning.
* Conduct and lead weekly team meetings.
* Handle monthly and year-end reporting, quarterly checks and balances.
* Travel required approximately every six weeks.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A DIRECTOR OF FINANCE:
* 4+ years in accounting; CPA designation required
* A background in manufacturing is required — ideally within metal
* Strong interpersonal skills; collaboration and relationship management
* Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analysis
* Tenacity and eagerness to learn and continually build upon skills
* Familiarity with contract production is an asset
