Job Description:

You will be responsible to oversee all IT Governance related activities including the continual adoption of best practices in the Intake Management, Resource Management, Technical Project Planning, IT security, and general practices. The Director is specifically accountable to lead a team of high skilled resources in the development of best practices and delivery of required operational processes and activities to govern the overall business practice of Information Services and Technology.

Required Skills and Experience:

·Understanding of IT best practice methodologies, including ITIL and CoBIT, and the ability to oversee the adoption of these practices and processes throughout the IST organization.

·Background in the oversight of the operational readiness of business continuity and disaster recovery processes through continual assessment of the company’s capabilities, tuning or improving capabilities, exercising recovery processes and reporting on outcomes on a regular basis to appropriate stakeholder groups.

·Background in establishing IT security policy and practices to protect corporate information and technology assets

·Ability to work collaboratively with project sponsors to put into operation integrated hardware and software solutions

·Capable of being directly accountable for special initiatives to be defined

·Experience being responsible for staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations.

·Coach, counsel and is responsible to maximum development of direct reports to meet member and organizational and individual goals and objectives

·Experience with implementing and managing IT controls relative to SOX would be an asset

·Experience with Interac Security Compliance would be an asset

·Experience with PCI/DSS Compliance would be an asset

·ATM or POS systems and processing experience would be an asset

·Postillion EFT switch environment experience an asset
