As the Director of HR, you will undertake exciting challenges to support and further develop the exceptional culture and sustainable environment they are best known for. Reporting to the President, you will lead HR strategies and initiatives, ensuring the organization possesses the people, skills and capabilities to create and execute on their future strategy. You will be responsible for all of the HR functions including talent attraction and retention, talent management, culture and engagement, total rewards, amongst others. You will lead the HR team with a “lead from the front” attitude, supporting and developing careers and building competencies for a world-class team.

With a mindset of continuous improvement, you will have the opportunity to build and implement progressive HR processes, tools, methodologies and systems, adding value across the business and improving operational inefficiencies. You will actively engage with the senior leadership team in this strategic and hands-on tactical role.

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, Administration or related field
  • Broad based HR expertise with depth of knowledge in multiple HR functions, including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent and performance management, HRIS systems, employee communications, leadership development and compensation.
  • Progressive career having made an impact on people and culture, possessing both strategic and tactical capabilities and a desire to retain a hands-on leadership approach.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial and industrial environment.
  • Strong team management experience, building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Solid project management experience, mindset of continuous improvement, strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple business lines, developing strong relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
