This Director role is responsible for the design, execution and implementation of hybrid IT solutions, including networking, security and data centre solutions. The continued growth and success of this professional services team in the marketplace is directly attributed to the expertise and skills of its staff, the trust and confidence of its technology partners and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have overall responsibilities for all aspects of the national practice ranging from team leadership, resource management, demand generation and overall growth and profitability of the business. Key Responsibilities Lead the continued growth of the Bell’s Networking, Security and Data Centre professional services practice Shape, innovate, develop and improve Bell’s professional services and solutions for client benefit & Bell’s continued growth; drive the strategy and execution for the business Oversight of customer delivery mandates to ensure high quality, on time deliverables and profitable outcomes Support escalations and contribute to problem solving, leading by example where needed Analyze potential opportunities and further validate viability in terms of Bell’s objectives and available resources to create client value, and enhance Bell’s current position in the overall competitive landscape. Collaborate with the Product Management team and strategic technology partners to develop thought leadership, capabilities, resources, and overall credentials to positively distinguish Bell from its competitors Ensure corporate objectives and business strategies are aligned and supported by our business plan, full P&L responsibility Provide industry insight, strategic direction, risk management and executive-level perspective into clients’ business needs and growth opportunities Oversight of a sizeable team of team leaders and consultants (people management, training, hire, coaching) located in Ontario and western Canada Achieve cost effectiveness and profitability through the close management of all financials and KPIs of this practice Critical Qualifications 8+ years of experience leading a strategic consulting practice, technical teams or professional services team while exhibiting success in continued growth 10+ years of directly related IT experience with at least 5 years in Networking and/or Security solutions Experience engaging with clients at all levels to understand needs and present world-class, leading solutions based on industry, market and Bell’s services and capabilities Familiarity with networking, security and data centre solutions, including hybrid and public cloud solutions Record of accountability for developing winning proposals in a team and a matrix environment Experience managing financials and aggressive timelines (full P&L, budgets, timelines, project milestones) while mitigating risk Experience driving process improvements in sizeable environments Proven track record of leading a large, diverse and geographically dispersed team and instilling in them a performance orientation, a sense of shared purpose and the collective skill sets needed to deliver stretch goals Strong business acumen and experience shaping winning themes and costing models Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand project complexities and how components connect and relate to each other Ability to obtain a Government of Canada security clearance of Level I and Level II Ability to speak French an asset, although not required #EmployeeReferralProgram Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.Additional Information: For work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
