Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Patient & Family Support Services, the Registered Dietitian is part of the Nutrition Services team and works collaboratively with all members of the interdisciplinary health care team. A person-centred model of care is used to provide outpatient medical nutrition therapy. The Registered Dietitian acts as a resource to CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) programs/ committees, including the Community Oncology Program (COP), develops and delivers educational programs to patients, families and staff, participates in research, and mentors dietetic interns. Activities may be provided at one or multiple CCMB sites.
