Looking for a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer to lead the improvement of our operating environments. You will leverage your experience, best practices, and collaborative attitude to help drive a new level of capability and operational maturity.Responsibilities:Manage, debug, and streamline IT infrastructure related to hosting, deployment, and developmentEnsure security best practices are applied in procedures and all stages of the development processWork closely with stakeholders to create flexible, secure, and scalable solutionsBuild automation processes and contribute to the development of internal tools to achieve operational efficiencySolve problems creatively and flexibly in resource-constrained situationsCollaborate with team members to implement techniques and processes for continuous improvement, fostering a culture of curiosity and collaboration, and building an effective infrastructure teamQualifications:Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneouslyUnderstanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, and Agile principles and the ability to apply themA bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology/engineering field considered an assetStrong attention to detailMandatory Requirements:5+ years of experience using cloud computing platforms and APIs, especially Azure3+ years of DevOps experience, or equivalentAdvanced knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps principlesSuperior written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is requiredBackground check and training in privacy regulations will be requiredResides in OttawaWork Environment:Hybrid position with part-time in-office presence required (2-3 days/ week)Team-oriented, eager-to-learn, and reliable candidates are a great fitEnthusiasm, passion, and a love of learning are highly valuedBenefits:Health and dental benefits planEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Stock Options ProgramRRSP Matching Program (coming soon!)
