Look no further asTechnica Mining has the opportunity for you!Currently, we are seeking motivated and qualified candidates to fill the followingDevelopment Miner positions in Timmins, ON:The key responsibilities include but not limited to:Performing pre-operational inspections and ensuring safe operation of mechanized bolterInspecting existing underground headings and scaling loose rocks while working according to work procedures and company policies within a safety conscious environmentOperate Maclean Bolter to install primary and secondary ground support in development headingsOperate Maclean Bolter to recondition existing underground drifts and headingsParticipating in other facets of underground development, as required, which includes LHD operation, service advancement, load development faces and other underground activitiesAssisting with other support duties such as mechanical installations; maintenance of air, water and ventilationREQUIREMENTSMust have Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000, U0001, U0002, U0003, U0004, U0005, U0006, U0010, & U0012) or equivalent provincial designation,Must have Underground Specialty module U0018 – Operate Mechanized Rock BolterFollowing Specialty modules are considered an asset:U0068 A or B – Perform Trackless HaulageU0089 – Operate Mechanized Jumbo DrillU0091 – Operate Haul TruckPrevious experience using a jackleg and stoper considered an asset,Must have a minimum of 5 years underground development experienceCommitted to maintaining a safe and efficient work environmentCandidates are required to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.Technica Mining offers a comprehensive compensation package including a company matched pension plan, as well as competitive health, dental, life and disability benefits, plus ongoing development and training.
