Vifloor Canada Ltd., a boutique flooring distributor in Etobicoke, ON, specializes in the commercial, multi-family, hospitality, residential and senior living sector, delivering commercial matting and flooring, bespoke carpet and custom rugs and broadloom.
We are looking to fill the Design Sales Assistant role. This role will collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team. The in-house role will develop custom carpet patterns, produce 2D renderings and 3D illustrations utilizing carpet patterns, prepare presentations for the sales team and assist with company marketing initiatives, artwork for social media posts, website revisions and related administrative duties.
Benefits and Pay Range:
- Salary range of $58,000 to $65,000 per annum commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill sets.

Qualifications:
- Background and experience in textile design, graphic design, interior design, or related fields is required.
- 1-5 years’ experience.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, and WordPress.
- Creative, having a strong visual sense of colour, texture and pattern.
- Meticulous with a strong attention to detail.
- Able to take direction, and open to change.
- Self-motivated with well-honed communication and time-management skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sales team in the development, design, and implementation of custom patterned carpets.
- Assist in the creation and development of custom carpet patterns.
- Develop and create 2D and 3D renderings.
- Assist in the preparation of design sales presentations for clients and project specific opportunities.
- Manage an online sales and project management program with the Sales team.
- Assist with a variety of marketing initiatives, including content creation.
- Variety of administrative duties relative to the design process for Sales and Marketing.
- Communicate directly with clients.
