For more details, please visit: / Terms of employment: 40 hours/week, full-time Work location: North York, Ontario Language of work: English Salary range: $45.00 to 50.00/hour Start date: As soon as possible Benefits: Competitive compensation, Bonus incentives, Paid leave, In-house dental benefits, Extended health care and vision benefits, Scrubs allowance Licence/Certification: Dental Hygienist License (required) Duties and responsibilities: & Perform dental scaling to remove plaque and tartar buildup & Infection control and sterilization & Record-taking, including dental x-rays, intraoral camera, periodontal charting, and detailed chart notes & Apply fluoride treatments and take dental impressions & Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for improving their oral health & Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories & Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment. Qualifications: o Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body o A minimum of 1 year working experience as a Hygienist o Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry o High-level knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and the ability to discuss treatment plans with patients professionally and effectively. o Exceptional attention to detail. o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills o Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. o Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
