A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Demand Planner to join a hugely talented team in central London.You will be given the reigns to lead on the end-to-end supply chain and availability of the product portfolio. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone looking to further their career within this growing category and will be well suited to somebody entrepreneurial with experience in a rapid growth environment.Opportunity:The Demand Planner will play an instrumental role in the delivery of the commercial strategies and achievement of business goals. This role requires a blend of leadership, commercial and financial awareness and a deep knowledge of forecasting process and systems.This role will drive outstanding forecast accuracy through deep data analytics and leveraging market information. This individual will support from time to time the S&OP global leader and the UK&EMEA demand leader in preparing local market specific information. These guys move so fast so be prepared to get up to speed quickly and work closely in one of the most incredible beauty brands!Responsible for generating an accurate SKU level forecast using E2Open’s demand planning software for our UK, European markets that can be viewed in volume and value metrics.Manage the Account Review consensus process with Commercial to ensure the volume Demand Plan is aligned with the Commercial Plans.Ensure the Demand Plan includes all confirmed promotional activities & NPD plans in the short to medium term, as well as the longer term planned assumptions to support the S&OP process within the business.Hold personal accountability and be prepared to have the difficult conversation to hold others accountable for their delivery.Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams to assess and capture local market information that will influence demand based on Brand strategies or market trendsSupport the purchasing and supply of all point of sale materials with Marketing and Finance teamsSupport the Demand Planning Manager in the continuous improvement of systems and processes to help create longer term demand plans, capture assumptions for event management and support the S&OP processEssential experience required:In depth working knowledge of the cosmetics sector or of a similarly face-paced sector for a quality consumer brandProven commercial forecasting experienceAdvanced knowledge of demand planning and statistical forecastingStrong ability to lead, influence and communicate across the organisationHighly motivated and goal-oriented team playerAble to be flexible and adaptive in prioritising to meet deadlinesCapability and ambition to grow into a regional lead of S&OP demand planningThis is a full-time permanent role joining a passionate team who work collaboratively in an open-space to achieve a vision.
