Through this spirit, we practice thoughtfulness, dedication to the needs of others and meticulous attention to every aspect of our products and service.Job purposeThis role is part of the Shiseido brands Sales and operation team and will support sales and responsible for inventory availability.Duties and responsibilitiesForecasting and Demand PlanningGather, analyze and validate data that will be used in preparing forecastsAssist in developing integration plans to migrate multiple business groups into single demand planning processWork with regional Supply Planners and Order Management to manage exceptions caused by significant, unexpected eventsUtilize MS Excel and AS400 to develop demand plans to maximize business targets (Sales, Inventory, Customer Order Fulfillment)Monitor demand changes related to product transitions, identify potential risks, provide recommendations to mitigate risks, and project end of life inventory exposureWork with Product Managers, Product Development and Operations to forecast demand for new products; and successfully transition them to ProductionPreparation and transmission of purchase order as required, and provide visibility to delays and shortages through weekly reportingMeasure and report on forecast accuracyConsult with Product Managers, Product Development, Sales, Finance and Operations to obtain relevant data and insights on demandEvaluate sales opportunities against forecasted demand and highlight any potential risks including material availability and production capacityInventory ManagementDevelop and maintain an inventory and replenishment plan that supports our service levels while minimizing inventory exposureMonitor and coordinate inventory movement between vendors and warehouse.Manage inventory levels of both POSM and FG to meet corporate goalsSupport both POSM and finished good promotional activities (BOM)Identify current and potential product shortages, develop and execute recovery planes, advise interested parties of status and recovery plansProvide input to the development of inventory policies and parameters to reduce E&OReporting and analyticsPrepare reports and data that will be used in the Sales & Operations planning process including assumptions, analysis and recommendationsProvide periodic report on potential risks to inventory availability and on-time arrival of both POSM and finished goods.Provide periodic report on items with short shelf (18 to 24 month out to expiry date)Assist in the development, implementation, maintenance of the seasonal master trackerMaintain and update master files (items, vendors, etc.) including new item setupProcess improvementRecommend fact-based improvements which increase efficiency and effectiveness, while understanding and balancing the requirements of multiple stakeholdersDevelop and deliver process documentation that reflects current business processes and future state requirementsWork with various business groups to understand their demand planning processesReview, assess, and report on supply and demand variability and identify opportunities to manage and mitigate riskQualificationsUniversity Degree or College diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
