Bantrel has an exciting opportunity for a Database Developer & Administrator to join our team in Calgary. The successful candidate will have front-line visibility with the accounting team, supporting them over the phone, via e-mail, web-based ticketing interface, and in person. A minimum of five years' work experience, as well as a strong knowledge of SQL and TSQL with knowledge of ERP systems is required. We are looking for an individual who excels in collaborative, dynamic and fast-paced project environments. We are in search of a task oriented, self-starter who is confident and has exceptional communication skills. You will be a person who thrives in an open world environment but knows how to find a work-life balance. **Please note this is a contract position of 18-24months. Duties & Responsibilities include: Work with our team to maintain and support our ERP System (Unit 4). Identify and develop new ERP customizations and integrations using TSQL. Write and optimize SQL and TSQL code and designs (stored procs, functions and views). Design and maintain SQL Server Integration Services projects. Handle reporting requests from the accounting and finance groups. Maintain and update business access and security to the ERP system. Qualifications

5 to 10years’ experience supporting an ERP system (Unit 4 preferred) in the following areas:

Experience supporting users in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing Project implementation in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing ERP System Administration

Working knowledge of SQL Server including:

System administration T-SQL Maintenance plans, backup, and restores

Report writing using a tool such as SSRS. Data integration using a tool such as SSIS. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users. Pro-active, highly motivated and a strong team player with a positive attitude. Takes ownership and responsibility for a project or task of high importance and see it through to completion.
