You'll contribute to our mission by building scalable data pipelines, defining KPIs, automating data collection, and leveraging machine learning to optimize our business software. If you thrive in solving complex problems and have a background in computer science, data science, or mathematics, join us to reshape the online travel tech industry.Responsibilities:Develop scalable data pipelines for streaming and batch dataDefine and measure KPIs to enhance customer satisfaction and business outcomesAcquire, structure, and process both structured and unstructured dataImplement machine learning models to improve decision-making processesAutomate data collection using distributed systemsGenerate reports and presentations for business insightsCorrelate similar data to derive actionable resultsTrain machine learning models using various methodsConduct thorough technical writing for documentation and reportsCommunicate complex data effectively to diverse stakeholdersDesired Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience data scienceProficiency in Python, R, and ScalaStrong SQL skills and familiarity with business intelligence toolsExperience with Real-Time OLAP platforms like Apache DruidUnderstanding of scalable software concepts and algorithmsSolid mathematics background including statistics and linear algebraFamiliarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and KafkaExpertise in machine learning models including linear and logistic regression, clustering, and neural networksExceptional attention to detail and ability to visualize data effectivelyExperience with data processing libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and PyTorchAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively in a teamAdditional experience in software engineering, performance tuning, and cloud environments is advantageousAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field preferredAdditional Experience that would be Considered an Asset:You have a background as a Software Engineer who has experience in modern languages like Go, C# (.Net core), Java or Scala.Hands on with writing multi-threaded, concurrent programsHands on with performance tuning and optimization with respect to latency, throughput of calls, skilled in usage of load testing tools like JMeterYou can normalize a relational database (SQL) with the best of them and know when not to.
