The Data Quality and Management Analyst will work with existing data management systems and processes to maintain high data quality levels. You’ll interact with multiple stakeholders and data owners to enact standards directed at improving and maintaining the enterprise data management practices.

What you will be doing:

-Leading the long term vision and setup of Enterprise Data Catalog, Metadata Management posture

-Collaborating with Data Governance to lead DG enablement as we evolve our enterprise DG posture

-Evangelizing data management best practices throughout the company

-Working with enterprise architects, data engineers on technology assessments for data platforms

-Facilitating the alignment of corporate reference data management system and data quality framework with industry best practices

-Administration of corporate reference and metadata management systems

-Designing and implementing business rules in code for data profiling analysis

-Preparing and publishing data quality reports

-Performing root cause analysis of data quality issues

-Working with data stewards on data quality goals

What you should have:

-Degree in computer science/mathematics or related field

-Minimum 3 years of experience working in data management/data engineering field

-Strong knowledge of T-SQL language

-Experience dealing with business terminology and data dictionaries

-Experience developing data solutions on GCP, AWS or Azure

-Experience with different types of databases e.g. relational, NoSQL, Cloud, Columnar, etc..

-Experience in development of data quality rules on any data platform

-Extensive experience dealing with data quality issues, understanding of types of data quality issues

-Knowledge of any Data Catalog solution is an asset

-Knowledge of MS SQL Server Master Data Services is an asset
