Are you a Data Governance Consultant looking for a new opportunity?Are you looking for a new contract opportunity?We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider: Data Governance Consultant-Start: ASAP-Estimated length: 6 months-Location: Mississauga-Onsite roleActively seeking for candidates with below requirements.Advantages- You will have an opportunity to work with a leading employer in the local market.Responsibilities- Leverage on company’s practices and methodologies to support the definition and roll out of data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, procedures, processes and related tools.- Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance, ensuring data ownership & accountability.- Develop & maintain inventory of the information assets, including authoritative systems, data domains, data owners, and the enterprise data governance platform, etc.- Lead workshops to onboard business teams to Data governance policies and tools.- Serve as a liaison between Business, Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business assets are clearly identified and defined.- Define indicators for performance, compliance and adoption of data related policies, standards and practices.Qualifications- 8+ years of IT experience with 4-5 years of experience in Data Governance and Data related programs’- Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management and data quality practices- Work Experience on any one of the Data Governance tools, preferably Collibra- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.- Desire to investigate and try-out new tools and technologies as they are released.- Ability to work under tight timelines, in cases for multiple project deliveries.- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within high-performing teams.- Excellent communication and Presentation skills- Evidence of self-motivation for continuous development.Nice to have:- Knowledge on Retail domain- Good understanding of Data Life cycle- Knowledge on Data tools- Relevant certification(s) in the field of data governanceSummaryDo you have this experience?
