The Opportunity

Simpplr is looking for an experienced Creative Operations Project Manager to lead marketing organization projects and programs, reporting to Simpplr’s Chief Marketing Officer.

Your Job Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

  • Project Management and Operations: Serve as the central point of contact and coordinator for all creative projects across the organization, including web pages, research papers, content (blogs, demand generation materials), graphics, product marketing collateral, and more.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as design, writing, product marketing, demand generation, and the chief insights leader to understand project requirements, timelines, and priorities.
  • Project Tracking and Execution: Develop and maintain a comprehensive creative project management system, ensuring efficient tracking, prioritization, and execution of all creative initiatives.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the creative project pipeline, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and monitoring progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Communication Facilitation: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among creative teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks, resource constraints, or conflicts, proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Implement and enforce creative project management best practices, processes, and tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze project performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement process optimizations to enhance creative operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, style guides, and quality standards across all creative deliverables.
  • Resource Management: Manage creative resource allocation, workload balancing, and capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of creative talent.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Foster a collaborative and creative environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement within the creative teams.
  • Reporting: Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes.
  • Accountability: Ensure cross-departmental accountability and adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Your Skillset

What makes you a great fit for the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field required
  • 5+ years Project Management experience
  • 3+ years in Enterprise B2B and SaaS marketing
  • Experience managing marketing efforts in SaaS
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in storytelling with executives
  • High degree of knowledge, including detailed hands-on experience, using Salesforce, marketing automation (eg Hubspot)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel a minimum 20%, if necessary
