Position Overview
The Creative Accounts Manager is responsible for leading and developing a sales strategy focused on achieving revenue and profitability goals for strategic revenue offerings, including creative, décor & design, and digital. The individual in this role is responsible for driving revenue growth directly with clients. This position reports to the VP, Creative, Digital & Marketing.
Key Job Responsibilities
Business Development
· Actively research the national market to identify new sources of revenue growth from new and existing clients pertaining directly to strategic revenue services (creative, décor & design and digital)
· Participate in developing annual strategic revenue sales growth goals/targets and plans to achieve them
· Perform business development activities - lead the sales process to grow existing customers and to win new clients
· Collaborate internally with creative, décor & design, and digital team members across Encore to contribute in securing new National business
· Track business development/sales activities in the CRM system.
· Attend and lead client meetings to showcase the latest creative, design & décor and digital service offerings
· Share account growth and new client acquisition best practices internally
· Train and coach sales team members nationally to ensure continued success in selling creative, décor & design and digital services
Sales Leadership
· Work with AMs/AEs to deploy value proposition to create winning sales strategies and gain profitable market share
· Provide a regular, accurate sales forecast
· Track and report on revenue metrics
· Create training programs and host regular sessions to increase awareness of strategic revenue services throughout the organization
Team & Market Planning
· Analyze current set of offerings to determine performance in the current state
· Consult on potential new offerings based on knowledge of the direct sales business and intimate understanding of client requirements in the market
· Develop and maintain a key account target/prospect list focused on growing strategic revenue
· Assist with RFP response where required
· Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity to develop and implement measures that maximize Encore’s success
· Monitor and analyze potential partnerships and new solutions that would assist in department growth
Client Management
· Be involved in managing key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
· Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
Corporate Leadership
· Serve as an brand ambassador with clients, key relationships, and industry associations
· Foster a positive sales culture of success and ongoing goal achievement, maintaining high sales team member morale and engagement
· Promote our client as an employer of choice nationally
Job Qualifications
· 5+ years of progressive Sales Leadership experience
· Demonstrated history of year over year sales growth
· Results driven, energetic and focused
· Service oriented, professional image
· Clear, concise written and verbal communication
· Event or related industry experience
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM Systems
