Monitor the project cost and schedule performance and ensure that the cost controls system is properly implemented. Generate all required project status reports for internal management, including the overall project dashboard, project performance report (Earned Value, SPI, CPI, etc.). As required, produce custom reports per request of the customer or internal management. Reviews potential changes against project scope and facilitate discussions with project team members. Preparation of thorough, accurate and timely forecast estimates, in compliance with technical requirements, project scheduling, cost, and safety requirements. Participate in the preparation and presentation of estimates, forecasts and report dashboards. Calculate material take-offs in comparison with the bid. Liaise with project team to reconcile production quantities when necessary. Assist with calculation of accurate monthly accruals. Prepare and update of cash and revenue flows in alignment with the current construction works schedule. Mapping of cost codes with works schedule activity ID’s. Ensure labour and equipment rates are aligned with payroll and the equipment group. Accumulate, evaluate, and document historical cost data. Coordinate cost report/control and ensure required information is properly coded and posted. Gather data, validate and incorporate it into the project schedule, analyse schedule impacts and recommend corrective actions. Liaise with contracts team regarding subcontractor and supplier change orders in addition to estimating client claims. Prepare economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Document construction progress, identify, track and assist in resolution of construction issues/conflicts. Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project. Interfaces closely with Project Risk Management to ensure effective integration of the Risk Management and Change Control Processes.
