Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor, Buildings | Cost ConsultancyPosted 4 days ago Cost Consultancy Cost consultancy operating within the infrastructure and construction market Our client is a growing Canadian cost consultancy and risk advisory firm operating within infrastructure and ICI buildings market. They are setting up a project monitoring division and looking for an entrepreneurial Consultant / Quantity Surveyor to establish and build a team for commercial and residential buildings projects. Our client act as Construction Advisors and Chartered Quantity Surveyors who carry out the usual scope of work but focusing on: Construction Claims and Disputes (including Delay & Disruption) Forensic Audits Capital Reviews Project restructuring and resetting Recovery Plans The candidate will be responsible for heading up the business, seeking new work and clients and managing the projects MGF is appointed on. They need to grow the business and the support needed in the office to run the projects. The opportunity would include options to own shares and/or receive profit share. They will need the following: Senior PQS background Presentable, out going and sociable Experienced in presentations Strong understanding of Vancouver market and pricing RICS/CIQS Good direct relationships with clients Ability to guide and train QS’s on all aspects of Quantity Surveying Strong Business acumen Ability to develop the business Only candidates with authorisation to work in Canada will be considered. Compensation Dependent on experience and education.
