To support their growth strategy, our client is seeking a collaborative, highly motivated, and pragmatic lawyer to join their team as a Corporate Secretary & Senior Legal Counsel. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Secretary & Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for the provision of sound advice and leadership on matters of Canadian securities compliance for the company and its subsidiaries. This individual will also be the Corporate Secretary and provide guidance on Board and Committee work, continuous disclosure and reporting, and corporate governance matters. The Corporate Secretary & Senior Legal Counsel will play a meaningful role with the directors and executives of the organization. This role is ideally suited for an engaging legal professional who enjoys working with various stakeholder groups in an exciting, fast-paced business environment. We’re looking for an experienced corporate lawyer with a depth of experience in corporate securities and finance law (minimum 7 years) as well as corporate secretarial experience for a Canadian public company.
