We are recruiting for a Paralegal to join our successful and growing corporate practice. This role is a full-time in office permanent position. The successful candidate will have the benefit of any needed mentoring in a collegial environment and an existing caseload of clients. In addition, organizational skills and an outstanding ability to multi-task will ensure success in this role.Key Responsibilities:All aspects of corporate and commercial deals from start to finish focusing on corporate reorganizations, implementation of tax driven transactions, business succession planning, general and annual corporate resolutions, and business advice to our existing and new corporate clients.Assist in preparing and administering commercial leasing agreements, financing transactions and contract and business enterprise matters.Assists with negotiating and drafting of shareholder, partnership, and numerous other commercial agreements.The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of OntarioA minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the corporate and commercial field.The successful candidate will be self-motivated, independent, strong acumen and attention to detail, and comfortable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with other employees as part of a team.Excellent oral and written communication skills, refined organizational skills and outstanding ability to multi-task and strong interpersonal skills.About the organization:As one of the oldest law firms in Canada, Creighton Law LLP was established in 1885.
