Our client, a regulatory body of Canada, is hiring for a Manager of Corporate Affairs to join their team on a full time, permanent position This is a fully remote position, however the successful candidate must reside within Ontario. The successful candidate will lead the organization's corporate functions including compliance, procurement, facilities, and administrative operations. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Corporate Affairs Unit, developing and executing strategies. Oversee compliance with legislation, regulations, directives, and guidelines. Manage procurement, ensuring compliance with College policies and legislation. Oversee facilities management, including security, maintenance, and lease-related matters. Manage administrative operations, including records management and office inventory. Develop and manage project plans in collaboration with the Project Management Office. Ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements. Stay updated on relevant legislation, trends, and best practices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 5-7 years of experience in corporate services, including procurement, administrative operations, and facilities. Knowledge of compliance functions, including ATIP and the Library and Archives of Canada Act. Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure management. Experience in contract administration. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management, organizational, and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder relationship management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail to ensure compliance with deadlines. Strong coaching and management skills. Understanding of project management principles.
