Title: B2B Event Coordinator

What are we looking for?

We are looking for leaders, people managers, and visionaries. We are currently looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team.

What will you do?

As an Event Coordinator for key clients, you will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of all business requirements for your assigned accounts as well as providing coaching to your team on a national basis.

Your “hands-on” approach will be required to provide direct insight and strategy on how to improve and grow the programs. You will build a relationship based on trust, innovation, and the delivery of consistent results that meet or exceed expectations.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Drive training and communication strategies to optimize your team’s results, engagement, and retention
  • Interact with key client contacts to understand upcoming initiatives, product launches, and on-site execution needs
  • Manage client expectations and help make all plans operational
  • Strong orientation to identifying and maintaining operational best practices
  • Support data integrity and reporting requirements
  • Ability to analyze business results and report on key insights, and develop action plans to address opportunities
  • Administration of payroll and management of expenses
  • Coordinate team efforts in the recruiting, training, and ongoing development of team members
  • Proactively identify problems and develop solutions within guidelines of a program. Anticipate problems and solutions
  • Sales-oriented and the ability to coach field staff on all areas of growth
  • Project Management
  • Creating Workback Schedules
  • Managing Vendors, Timelines, and Budgets
  • Sourcing & Procuring event-related assets
  • Lead, Hire, Train & Manage Brand Ambassadors on site for events
  • Manage internal systems, including new program set up and reporting
  • Provide weekly status updates on program updates, client program reporting, and reviews
  • Attend client meetings or team activities outside the office and/or on occasion, regular business hours

Qualifications:

  • College or university degree
  • Strong leadership experience in managing a team
  • Experience and understanding of the experiential industry
  • Strong business acumen – budgeting is something you have an affinity for
  • Highly adaptable; Ability to handle high-stress situations and utilize problem-solving techniques to find the best solutions
  • Client service-oriented with an ability to build strong and productive working relationships
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve, and multitask
  • Driver’s license and use of vehicle to attend client meetings and field visits
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including overnight travel and weekends
  • Proficient with computer applications (Google Workspace & Microsoft products)
  • A solid team player with a positive attitude

This is an entry-level role in an agency environment. This role is currently in a hybrid work environment with 3 days at the Toronto office (Liberty Village).
