Job Description

Who we are

At Venngo, we provide premium discount programs that allow organizations of all sizes to offer their employees, members or customers special offers from national brands and local favourites where they love to shop, eat and play.

We’re an established and growing company that delivers programs and marketing services for leading organizations in North America across a broad range of verticals including finance, healthcare, retail, electronics, telco, food, etc.

Who we need:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are adding a customer-facing Contracts Administrator to our team. As our new Contracts Administrator, you will oversee the entire contract management process, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts and agreements for our clients, vendors and partners.

This hybrid role requires you to be in the office at least once a month for town hall meetings, with the flexibility to attend more frequently if required.

What's in it for you:

Autonomy. You will have the freedom to innovate and adapt our processes to better suit business needs. Whether you're in finance with a focus on contract administration, a law clerk transitioning to industry, or a Contracts Administrator within a large team seeking a more independent role, as our new Contracts Administrator, you will have the flexibility to propose and develop processes to facilitate our business growth.

Growth. You will work with a team that prioritizes inclusivity and collaboration and a manager who has been at the organization for 14 years, supporting the development and growth of his team. Whether you want to move into other aspects of finance, another area of our business, or simply expand the breadth of your role, there is always something to look forward to.

As our new Contracts Administrator, you will:

  • Own the process end to end. You will oversee the entire contract management process with clients, partners and vendors, managing everything from drafting contracts through to finalizing agreements. You will assess and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions, including identifying potential legal and financial implications. You will manage contract modifications, amendments, and extensions as necessary, ensuring that changes are properly documented and communicated to relevant parties.
  • Nurture relationships. You will manage and communicate with external stakeholders to facilitate effective contract negotiations and resolution of issues, and support internal teams on contract-related matters, including interpretation of contract terms, rights, and obligations. You will coordinate with department heads in order to complete data security and technical questionnaires.
  • Spearhead improvements. You will implement and maintain contract management systems and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility into contract data.

You bring:

  • The experience. You have worked in contract management, accounting, legal, or a related sales operations role, ideally managing SaaS contracts and licensing agreements. You understand SaaS business models, pricing structures, and contractual terms and conditions and can quickly come up to speed on our business model.
  • The project management. You can prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You are detail-oriented and can interpret complex industry nuances, and ask probing questions to gain insights.
  • The technical skills. You are proficient in MS Office. Bonus points if you have worked with HubSpot or Contract Management Software.
  • The interpersonal skills. You have excellent negotiation, communication, and partnership-building skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. You can influence without authority and are genuinely interested in understanding others, addressing their concerns, resolving conflict, removing roadblocks, and encouraging high-quality results.
