Our client, a major regional non-profit focused in the medical sector, is looking for a Marketing Manager starting shortly, on a contract basis until December 2024. The role will involve a number of duties including:
- End-to-end marketing project management
- Scoping projects / gathering assets / creating workbacks / briefing and executing deliverables / collating and curating feedback / managing complex approval process.
- Marketing team workflow management (digital / social / design) and workbacks
- Internal cross-functional stakeholder management
- External stakeholder management
- Ad hoc copywritingand proof reading
- PR (Media Release) process managementwith external PR agency
- Content management (long and short form)
- Vendor liaison and production management (print collateral / sourcing merchandise etc.)
- Obtaining quotes / troubleshooting issues / final production output
- Invoice reconciliation
- General administrative duties
Preferably:
- Has agency and client management experience.
- Integrated marketing communications experience.
- Project Management tools experience.
- Calm under pressure and ability to pivot where required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong administrative / project management background.
- Worked in a complex corporate environment.
- Attention to detail without losing sight of the ‘big picture’.
- Ok with doing mundane tasks.
- Resilient.
- Fun to work with, hands on role, not afraid to jump in and ‘own it’!
The role has an anticipated wage range of $30-40 hourly depending on experience. Must have 5+ years in a Canadian marketing manager role, preferably from an agency setting.
