Job Description

Our client, a major regional non-profit focused in the medical sector, is looking for a Marketing Manager starting shortly, on a contract basis until December 2024. The role will involve a number of duties including:

  • End-to-end marketing project management
    • Scoping projects / gathering assets / creating workbacks / briefing and executing deliverables / collating and curating feedback / managing complex approval process.
  • Marketing team workflow management (digital / social / design) and workbacks
  • Internal cross-functional stakeholder management
  • External stakeholder management
  • Ad hoc copywritingand proof reading
  • PR (Media Release) process managementwith external PR agency
  • Content management (long and short form)
  • Vendor liaison and production management (print collateral / sourcing merchandise etc.)
    • Obtaining quotes / troubleshooting issues / final production output
  • Invoice reconciliation
  • General administrative duties

Preferably:

  • Has agency and client management experience.
  • Integrated marketing communications experience.
  • Project Management tools experience.
  • Calm under pressure and ability to pivot where required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong administrative / project management background.
  • Worked in a complex corporate environment.
  • Attention to detail without losing sight of the ‘big picture’.
  • Ok with doing mundane tasks.
  • Resilient.
  • Fun to work with, hands on role, not afraid to jump in and ‘own it’!

The role has an anticipated wage range of $30-40 hourly depending on experience. Must have 5+ years in a Canadian marketing manager role, preferably from an agency setting.
