Contract AdministratorMetergy Solutions Inc. Toronto (Markham), Ontario (Hybrid)Position SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in Metergy’s growth in Canada and the US. This position offers interesting and challenging work, predictable hours, and the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. This position will report directly to the Senior Legal Counsel.Duties and Responsibilities Draft, review and assist the legal team in negotiating sales and services agreements for Canadian and US clientsWork closely with legal and business/operational departments to support the contracting processUpdate company standard forms and templates, and maintain a precedent databaseWork closely with the sales operations team to maintain and continuously improve contract administration processesAssist in preparing annual filings, resolutions and other documents, as needed, including annual returns, annual shareholder resolutions and officer certificatesManage record keeping for all company records, including maintaining and updating the company’s minute booksAssist the legal team in automating workflows and processesSupport the legal team in other tasks, as neededQualifications 0-2 years experience in contract administration or as a paralegal, law clerk, and/or legal assistantStrong preference for a paralegal, law clerk, and/or legal administration diplomaHighly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat and experience using legal document comparison software such as LiteraExperience drafting standard form commercial agreementsExperience with corporate filings, maintaining corporate records and Microsoft Power Automate tools would be considered an assetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skills with flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to meet critical deadlines and establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to take initiative, work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, professional team environment About Metergy Solutions Inc.
