Join us as we explore new horizons, establishing new standards of excellence that redefine the industry.Why consider working with us?You are valued and supported with competitive pay and benefits, such as extended health coverage, dental benefits, and a personal spending account.We prioritize your team’s well being by offering various perks, including a 50% discount on rentals at any DRIVING FORCE location and a company matched savings and emergency funds program for your future security.We emphasize work-life balance, offering 3 weeks of accruable vacation, a flexible work arrangement, and wellness programs for personal and family focus.We are commitment to your growth with our inclusive and enjoyable company culture that allows career advancement through hands on training and opportunities for career progression within the organization.You will experience a vibrant and cooperative work atmosphere, along with the chance to collaborate with a forward-thinking team in the automotive sector.What you’ll do: Quality Management System (‘QMS’)Responsible for defining, designing, and facilitating TDFG’s Quality Management System (‘QMS’) through the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and auditing requirements in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.Responsible for all procedures writing, drafting and reviewing while employing sound technical writing abilities.Ensure that policies, procedures, and forms are documented, updated and maintained in accordance with the ISO 9001 standards.Maintain revision control of policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms.Establish standards for quality and adopt a document control procedure to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents.Provide a framework for document approval, updates, publication, and obsolescence.Ensure that policies, procedures, and processes are updated after any changes that impact business processes and ensure that training to new standards is completed.Review and understand operational business processes and translate these requirements into written standards and operating procedures.Develop and track monthly Quality metrics and statistics for the organization.Maintain a high level of understanding of company standards, policies, and guidelines.Lead, facilitate and document quarterly Quality Circles with operational stakeholders.Identify opportunities for improvement in current processes and develop effective solutions.Responsible for maintaining and updating quality compliance objectives; CARs. KPIs and other results on a regular and adhoc basis.Prepare reports and summaries and present to senior leadership and other stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization.System Auditing and ComplianceLead, facilitate, schedule, and organize annual internal audit, location certifications, spot check audits and external ISO-9001 audits.Analyze audit findings, suggest actions to improve quality of products and services, and verify closure of action items.Routinely provide performance feedback, including individual and departmental trends, to team members, managers, and senior management to ensure compliance and minimize risk.Collect, analyze, log and summarize information on trends and CAR’s in Quality Management System and prepare CAR report on timely basis.Document, track and follow up on corrective action requests to support our corrective action program and continual improvement projects.Periodically review audit/inspection observations, deviations, and trends and modify the TDFG training program accordingly.Maintain ISO Auditor status and perform annual internal audits and support the coordination, execution and follow-up required for external audits.What you'll need:Minimum 3 years in a progressively responsible Quality Assurance role. Preference to those who have lead a function or department from QA standpoint.Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and certified auditor status.Strong technical writing abilities to create, edit and issue controlled documents.Ability to map and explain organizational relationships in every-day language.Attention to detail and ability to anticipate future needs and devise corrective action.Ability to get along with others and assert oneself with diplomacy and sound judgment.Excellent grammar, spelling and business writing skills.Problem-solving: an aptitude for analyzing situations and formulating solutions.Strong documentation, organization and time management skills.Willingness to travel within Canada.The Driving Force Group of Companies values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
