Relay has entered an exciting new chapter of growth. We’re looking for a customer-obsessed Content Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing on our product content strategy.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute the Product content strategy to create engaging and educational content for customers and prospects.
  • Craft compelling narratives that highlight the value and benefits of the Relay platform and its features from a customer-centric perspective.
  • In collaboration with the Product Marketing Team, build and maintain a content calendar to support product launches, product campaigns and ongoing customer stories.
  • Develop and produce content to support the Sales team to convert prospects into customers, including product one-pagers, pamphlets, email templates, in-app announcements, newsletter content, short-form videos, and more.
  • Gather and incorporate customer feedback and testimonials to enhance content relevance and impact
  • Support other members of the Content and wider Marketing team with product-related content insights and editing.
  • Work closely with Growth, Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure content aligns with business goals and customer needs.
  • Manage and coordinate external resources, such as freelance writers, designers, or agencies, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Stay up-to-date on competitor product content as well as marketing and industry trends to support content development.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of content and proactively offer suggestions to improve or iterate on content to drive impact on business goals.
  • Flex your writing and editorial skills to ensure that product-related assets are on-brand, on-point, and delightful to our audience.

Who You Are

  • You have 4+ years of combined experience in content marketing management
  • You’re a strong writer and editor with a natural ability to create compelling and optimized product content across various digital channels
  • You have a passion for product content marketing and proven experience creating impactful content that supports product launches, product campaigns and drives business outcomes.
  • You have used data/analytics to measure the impact of your work and adjust content strategies and tactics to drive greater business impact
  • You’re a strong project manager with a proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks that maximize your impact while working independently
  • You have experience interviewing subject matter experts and leveraging their input and perspective to develop authentic, informed content
  • You are genuinely excited about creating inspiring, helpful content for small businesses and their owners/operators, and care deeply about their success
  • You know how to leverage established tactics, but you can also think beyond the "playbook" to bring creative new ideas for growth
  • You are a storyteller at heart; you understand the power of narrative in shaping content strategy and leverage that to tell diverse stories

Bonus Points

  • You have experience working with Product Marketing teams or on Product Marketing initiatives
  • You have experience writing about financial topics, for SMB audiences or in B2B markets
  • You have experience working in a fintech startup

The Interview Process:

  • Stage 1: A 30-minute Google Meets video call with a member of the People Team
  • Stage 2: A 45-minute Google Meets video call with the Director of Brand
  • Stage 3: A take-home case study + writing sample, followed by a 1-hour presentation of your solution to our Marketing team
  • Stage 4: A 30-min Google Meets video call with a member of Relay’s Leadership team
