Are you a skilled, knowledgeable social media content creator that wants to work with some of Canada’s best food and drink brands and explore more of Montreal’s food scene? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Photo & Video Content Creator to join our team. This role is your way of getting behind the line and creating the most captivating food and drink content for Montreal’s top food page.

Taste Media operates a full-service creative and experiential agency, manages the social media channels TasteToronto and TasteMontreal, and runs TasteToronto.com, a leading online food and drink publication. We specialize in turning ideas into impactful campaigns and experiences that resonate deeply and forge unforgettable connections between brands and their audiences, leaving a lasting impact. Taste Media was founded in Toronto, Ontario in 2015.
What you'll be doing:
- Plan, shoot, edit and produce high-quality videos and photos for Taste Media’s various social media accounts
- Attend events and shoots, sometimes outside regular working hours, to capture real-time content
- Work closely with Taste Media team and various brand partners to coordinate, plan and execute shoots
- Develop visually compelling and engaging content that aligns with the brand and their objectives
- Be punctual and travel to media shoots efficiently
- Work and collaborate with Taste Media team to review content briefs and ensure content requirements are met
- Continuously seek out and conceptualize new creative approaches to enhance content
What We're Looking For:
- Very strong understanding of content creation for social media ––you understand what angles work for a particular subject, how to light and use the sun to capture the best looking image possible
- A deep, undying passion for Montreal’s food scene and cultureResilience and readiness to work flexible hours
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour, comfortable representing Taste Media on site at shoots and events
- A valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle is strongly preferred
