Our client, a year-over-year Top Employer is a leader in Business Analytics/BI (Business Intelligence) software sales and services. They haveengaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to help them recruit a Consulting Manager, Delivery.ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth.We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions.

As a Consulting Manager, you will build and maintain relationships with assigned clients.Manages the day-to-day business operations of a services consulting delivery practice. Defines and oversees the development of resources needed to accomplish business objectives of multiple, concurrent projects. Accomplishes results through planning, implementing and maintaining methods, strategies and business initiatives. Maximizes revenues through careful planning, negotiation and collaboration.

Major Responsibilities:

·Defines and oversees team objectives and the acquisition and development of resources to meet those objectives.

·Provides staff with clear understanding of responsibilities, accountabilities and career plan by communicating and managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals.

·Ensures staff compliance with established policies and procedures including skills inventory, methodologies, quality assurance and time submission processes.

·Develops and implements business plans specific to practice.

·Provides accurate revenue forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Monitors revenue and expenses to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

·Ensures delivery of multiple high quality consulting engagements resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsible for client satisfaction, expectations, and management of client issues. Where multiple projects are active – may act as Program Manager

·Demonstrates leadership in the delivery of services as seen by the Customer

·Manages client level expectations

·Builds and maintains customer relationships at the delivery level, ensuring proactive problem resolution during consulting engagements and actively promotes the value of services throughout the customer engagement cycle.

·Attends Client Steering Committee meetings, representing Services Delivery

·Manages consulting agreements and ensures that consultants work within timelines and budget,

·Accountable for financial performance of client portfolio including Project Revenue, Profit, and Project Recovery. Provides status reporting at the project and client account levels for management on a regular periodic basis.

·Accountable for accurate, up-to-date forecasts for assigned customers

·Responsible for organic growth within accounts and identifies new business opportunities to business enablement team.

·Works closely with Sales and Pre-sales to ensure that customer requirements are being met through accurate estimating and implementation planning.

·Works closely with the Resource Manager, ensuring optimized resource utilization across all projects and assisting in the development and deployment of partner resources.

·Works closely with the Alliances to identify partner delivery opportunities as well as identify partner implementation requirements. Monitors Partner delivery performance and recommends improvements.

·Collaborates with Director of Consulting Services and actively participates in regular planning and review meetings.

·Directly participates in the development and implementation of training and mentoring programs for staff. Provides regular performance reviews for team members and regularly communicates overall team performance.

Qualifications

·Senior Consultingmanagement experience – 8 years (mid to large multiple and concurrentprojects)

·Mentoring capabilities at the consultant level and project manager level

·Demonstrated experience in the retail industry is a definite asset.

·Demonstrated team building, organizational and planning skills.

·Customer relationship building and communication capabilities, both technology andbusiness

·Ability to effectively articulate consulting value propositions to customers at all levels

·University Degree in Computer Science, Business or Equivalent work experience

·Ability to negotiate and facilitate across various corporate functions

·Knowledge of software development lifecycle

·Ability to be persuasive to ensure internal change is accepted and implementedeffectively
