The MEDITECH Clinical Analyst Consultant will work with the MEDITECH Consulting Services team, Practice Managers, and Directors to support solution development, address complex client concerns, and provide exceptional on-site solution delivery based upon the needs of Healthtech clients. The MEDITECH Clinical Analyst Consultant can communicate well with project leaders, managers, and team leaders, as well as other team members, end-users, and vendors to ensure a productive and cooperative environment. Residing in Canada
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The MEDITECH Clinical Analyst Consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Perform healthcare enabling technology related consulting services for Healthtech clients
Serve as a subject matter expert in their MEDITECH domain area(s)
Participate in build, implementation, strategic planning, and readiness assessment projects as assigned by VP and /or Practice Director
Apply technical expertise to individual client system build in order to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems
Mentor client project teams in project delivery and system build strategy
Track and document risks and issues
Analyze and document workflows, as well as provide optimization suggestions
Work closely with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation of solutions
Conduct stakeholder interviews, complete gap analysis and recommendations, and contribute to the development of a summary report to be presented to the client
Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols, creating and maintaining all documentation for all assigned applications, and developing, planning, and executing testing for supported applications
Additional specific duties related to the project as may be required and dictated by individual clients
May be asked to lead Healthtech projects as appropriate applying the skills and qualifications outlined in the Project Lead role description
Work on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum five years’ experience in healthcare
3+ years of hands-on practical build and implementation experience within at least one of MEDITECH's clinical or revenue cycle management solutions
Experience with validation, package testing, application resolution and optimization, and the design/build/testing system of changes
Strong experience and skillset in a clinical module, multiple clinical modules an asset
Experience with MEDITECH Expanse platform is an asset
Previous experience as a consultant is an asset
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and advanced presentation skills
PMP, ITIL, or another Health Informatics Certificate an asset
Highly organized, able to multi-task as well as maintain intense focus on individual tasks
Self-starter with ability to maintain schedule, meet deadlines, and monitor one’s own work product.
Highly adaptable; able to acclimate quickly to new project assignments and work environments
Work successfully with different teams and co-workers
Adhere to client workplace rules and regulations, policies and procedures
Varying travel and living arrangements due to project location changes
Possess a strong work ethic, treats others with respect, keeps commitments, inspires the trust of others, works ethically and with integrity, and upholds organizational values
Exceptional level of professionalism
