Role Responsibilities
An RBC Technology Group Consultant works with new and existing customers to provide subject matter expert advice and consulting to assist in the acquisition of deals. Presales activities include proposal writing, demonstrations, speaking at events and conducting workshops, process assessment, appointment setting, auditing, marketing, and process mapping. Post-sale activities include project management, requirement gathering, professional services, documentation and consulting. Consultants work closely with Account Managers and CSM’s during presales and post sales activities.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
Contribute to successful sales achievement through delivery of the highest quality presales support for sales opportunities.
Play a key role in selling high value technology-based customer solutions
Identifying and analysing business processes of customers
Progress opportunities through the sales process, including consulting with Commercial Managers and other subject matter experts
Conduct process mapping, IT Audit or scoping tasks as per the Sales Process
Leverage deep functional expertise to increase the customer’s usage of existing client service offerings
Deliver demonstrations, presentations and consultations with customers applying knowledge of RBC products or solutions
Document writing including solution proposals, work briefs, functional and business requirements and project plans
Maintain knowledge of RBC products and services
Ensure systems, processes and costs are continually managed and reviewed to identify ways to reduce costs and improve our efficiencies
Convey the technical solution strategy and vision effectively to client executives, ensuring alignment with company win themes and unique selling points while meeting client expectations and requisites.
Conduct extensive research on industry, market trends, and IT service best practices, utilizing alliances to assess and ensure the alignment of our solutions and services with client needs.
Exhibit outstanding communication and presentation abilities, coupled with proficiency in using MS Office tools.
Demonstrate the capacity to propose well-formulated, clearly articulated, practical solutions and recommendations for intricate business challenges, effectively conveying these ideas to non-technical audiences.
Assistance and mentoring of other consultants in the Professional Services when necessary
Multitasking and handling multiple customers and streams of work
Contribute to solution design and architecture with Tech Services Team
Ensure processes are followed in the delivery of client communications, demonstrations and documentation
Product installation, configuration and training (including documentation of training materials) as required
Participate in other lead generation activities as required
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Skills & Experience
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience.
Business Management or IT Cert III, IV or similar accreditation.
Proven understanding of business analysis, project management or similar training.
Consideration is given if completing the above.
Skills
Experience in strategic sales or account management.
Excellent verbal and written communication acumen.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Solid understanding of Project Administration/Management.
A passion for solving problems through logic and data.
Self-motivated and strong sense of accountability.
Experience
Sales experience in at least one of the following:
Cloud Software / Services
Manages IT Services
Consulting Services o Outsourcing Services
Plus Proven Understanding of:
Process mapping
Business consulting
Technical pre-sales or Business Analysis
Project Management
Any previous business administration of office administration
Any previous CRM or ERP user or administration
Any previous SharePoint or MS Project user or administration
Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma
