What You’ll Be Doing

As the Consultant of Digital Consent and Privacy on our Digital Analytics & Integration team, you will play a pivotal functional Digital Product role in ensuring our bank's digital assets maintain the highest standards of data privacy and consent to Federal and Provincial Laws and Bills. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating collaboration and working with Privacy, Legal, Risk, and Enterprise Programs. You will effectively translate Privacy and Industry requirements to actionable business and digital project actions while staying current with data privacy regulations and technology trends.

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Digital Privacy and Consent Ownership: Promoting the bank's adherence to data privacy and consent regulations and best practices across digital properties, including Bill 64, GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant legislation. Implementing and maintaining rigorous data privacy practices and ongoing governance for all trackable technologies including cookies, pixels, etc.

  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and enhance ongoing partnerships with enterprise programs, Privacy, Legal, and Risk management teams to manage ongoing changes while participating in joint day-to-day gating processes, investigations, etc.

  • Team Collaboration: Work with a team of analysts and consultants, providing input, deliverables, and process improvement suggestions. Fostering a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision-making.

  • Tools, Technology & Vendors: Working alongside the Enterprise teams to support ongoing privacy and consent requirements fostering a Privacy by Default culture across all existing journeys and processes. Staying updated on industry trends and innovations, and own ongoing relationships with vendors and partners on related digital privacy solution matters.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying ongoing opportunities for process improvements and optimization in addressing Digital Privacy and Client Consent requirements, ongoing monitoring and controls, joint gating processes, etc. Anticipate upcoming regulatory changes and develop action plans to help the organization proactively adapt to these changes and stay current.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience in: Consent Management Platform (e.g. OneTrust), Client Preference Centre for Marketing and Services, Agile Project Management, Digital and Marketing platforms and technologies, Financial Industry and/or Wealth knowledge. Bill 64 (Law 25), Bill 96, GDPR, CCPA, AdChoices and other relevant Privacy requirements. Working knowledge of: Tracking Technologies (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), Cookies, Marketing and Advertising Pixels, etc.
