Job Description
Location: Granby, QC, Canada Compensation: Full time, CAD $50 - $80 per hour **We are seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure their successful completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management and possess strong leadership skills. **Assist the Site Superintendent in supervising daily construction activities and conducting site inspections. -Document daily job reports and keep the Site Superintendent and Construction Manager informed of project status, including schedule, interface, work-fronts, and other relevant issues. -Compile quantitative on-site data on a weekly basis. -Ensure adherence to the project schedule and participate in site meetings. -Issue recommendations for site work acceptance and prepare lists of deficiencies. -Communicate effectively with the design-builder (and its subtrades) and the project team to ensure performance, schedule, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are met. -Identify potential site risks and immediately report them to HSE for prompt corrective action. -Coordinate with local subcontractors and authorities. Diploma of college studies in Mechanical Engineering (candidates with equivalent experience may be considered). -Minimum of 2 years of work experience in construction within the Quebec area. -Relevant experience in industrial plant construction projects. -Familiarity with architectural and structural systems and safety procedures. -ASP construction card (OHS on construction sites). -Understanding of construction industry standards, drawings, and operations (e.g., construction specifications, building materials, IFC drawings, local regulations). -Effective communication skills in English and French (spoken and written). -Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook). -Previous project experience with a Korean EPC contractor is a significant asset, though not mandatory.
