Construction Project Manager Montreal, QCDescription:We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee all activities and resources related to sub-projects within our clients construction mandate. The ideal candidate will manage engineering firms and general contractors (GC) from conceptual engineering through execution to closure, ensuring a seamless handover to operations.Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.Liaise with engineering firms, general contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, reports, and change orders.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders in both French and English.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Metallurgical Materials Engineering, or a related field. Academic concentration in industrial project management is desirable.5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction, with a strong understanding of construction project management, cost control, and planning.Accreditation with OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) or equivalent professional certification.Project management skills, including planning, coordination, and documentation.Industry knowledge in construction (buildings) from various engineering backgrounds (e.g., EPC or owner side).Experience working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors and understanding complex engineering designs.Proficiency in project management tools and software.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Bilingual proficiency in French and English to communicate with site personnel and corporate stakeholders.Motivated, dynamic and adaptable.Familiarity with design review processes, scopes, and pricing evaluations.What We OfferWhy work with Brunel?
