Job Description

Taylor Ryan is working with a long term client who has been in the Vancouver construction industry for over 30 years. We are seeking a Project Manager that has proven track record of managing a commercial new build or tenant improvement projects in the range of $10-50M.This role would be well suited for someone with a relevant educational history in Construction Management or Architectural Building Technology with previous experience working with general contractors. Responsibilities:Plan and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standard of quality.Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they adhere to project specifications and timelines.Work closely with the design team to ensure that all plans and specifications are accurate and meet the project requirements.Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, and ensure that they are delivered to site on time and in good condition.Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.Monitor and manage project risks and take appropriate action to mitigate them.Maintain positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Manage project documentation and ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.At least 5 years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in the commercial and/or institutional industryStrong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders.In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.Familiarity with construction project management software and tools.If you have the required experience and qualifications, and are looking for an exciting opportunity to manage high-rise construction projects, we encourage you to apply for this role.Salary: 120-140k plus RRSP matching and year end bonus.
