This is a full-time permanent position for a long-term project role. The successful candidate will be familiar with construction management for large heavy civil and underground projects, preferably with experience with tunnels, shafts, and trenchless technologies. We are looking for an excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate with a diverse project team demonstrate foresight and judgment in anticipating and solving problems, as well as take initiative in completing a variety of tasks in support the construction management team.Responsibilities:Support the Construction Manager/Assistant Construction Manager as owners representative in managing the construction contract, and performing contract administration duties such as progress payments, change and claim management, schedule reviews, and as built recordsParticipate in discussions, meetings, and workshops with the client and Contractor as requiredPrepare weekly and monthly progress and change management reportsEnsure that all deliverables produced by the team meet quality requirementsPlan, create, and oversee deliverables such as schedule, submittal reviews, and budget & progress reportsImplement and lead technical and management QA/QC reviews and checks both administratively and during site inspections.Support and participate in risk management workshops and initiatives Provide leadership with respect to Construction site safety and participates in safety audits while monitoring the Prime Contractor’s Safety performance.Support the CM Team with the coordination of 3rd party entities and stakeholdersSupport the CM Team with permit coordination and management.Review Contractors daily, monthly construction reports and other deliverables.Document environmental and safety issues that may occur on-siteCoordinate with the Contractor, Engineer of Record and Client on all submittals and deliverables.Support the Document Management processQualifications:7-12+ years heavy engineering, construction, and underground infrastructure experienceBachelors Degree in Civil Engineering preferred, (or overseas equivalent).
