Job Description
Capela Surfaces located in Etobicoke, Ontario is looking for a full-time Construction Estimator with a minimum 2 years experience.
Duties include:
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs; read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements;
- Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads;
- Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms;
- Advise on tendering procedures; analyze tenders and recommend awards;
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures;
- Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates;
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates;
- Review bids and negotiate costs;
- Prepare contracts and tenders.
$33-$35 per hour. Special consideration will be given to the various underrepresented groups.
