Job Description

Job Description Maintain the case management structure including file management and prioritization;Advocate for constituents in need of support from federal government programs;Understand current guidelines, legislation, and services offered by federal government programs;Establish relationships with key contact points to resolve matters quickly and effectively;Assist with the management of office and administrative tasks such as media presence, community events, processing mail and email etc.;Attend events and meetings with or on behalf of the Member of Parliament and staff.QualificationsPost-secondary education from a recognized institution in political science, business administration or a related field or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience;Significant experience in managing multiple, simultaneous activities or events in a fast-paced and fluid environment;Experience working with a Member of Parliament or a political office;Experience prioritizing and maintaining relationships with multiple clients by exhibiting strong attention to detail, adaptability, and analytical skills;Significant experience working in an office setting with autonomy and professionalism;Superior verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.Additional InformationWe thank all candidates for their applications.
