Our passion has taken us from imagining dogfighter pilots in Star Wars: Squadrons to re-creating Isaac Clarke onboard the Ishimura in Dead Space.Currently, were working on two exciting projects, an original Iron Man action-adventure game and whats coming next for Battlefield.We believe in sharing our passion with our community and each other, fostering an inclusive culture, and nurturing a growth mindset.Although our approach may seem simple, it leads us to create the best work of our careers, bringing unique and immersive experiences to our players.Motive is looking for aSenior Level Designerto create extremely fun, satisfying game levels that align with our creative vision.Responsibilities:Design major game levels that are playable, enjoyable and immersive.Partner with technical and game design team members to understand and address constraints while maintaining AAA quality levelsWork in collaboration with level artists to ensure playability of levels and graphic fidelity.Contribute to playtests and design discussions and critiques.Help improve the game editorTest and troubleshoot areas that are not working in the game engine and fix themWork with Usability Lab to produce A/B tests and other important usability studies.Qualifications:You have 5+ years experience in video game level design with experience on at least one AAA titleExperience using visual scripting and level design toolsCommunicate design decisions and design documents creationCan work with partners to implement upon a visionPrototype ideas and share those ideas with important partnersComfort and capability in creative and technical design discussionsInterest in the environmental aestheticsUnderstanding of function vs. form relationships, and what makes a game level fun and intriguingMust work well in a team spanning artists, programmers, and designers. Were looking for someone who excels in the environment that new game creation demands.Break down tasks and work with production to produce estimates and priorities.
