Our passion has taken us from imagining dogfighter pilots in Star Wars: Squadrons to re-creating Isaac Clarke onboard the Ishimura in Dead Space.Currently, were working on two exciting projects, an original Iron Man action-adventure game and whats coming next for Battlefield.We believe in sharing our passion with our community and each other, fostering an inclusive culture, and nurturing a growth mindset.Although our approach may seem simple, it leads us to create the best work of our careers, bringing unique and immersive experiences to our players.Motive is looking for a Technical Designer.Motive is looking for a Senior Level Designer to create extremely fun, satisfying game levels that align with our creative vision.ResponsabilitiesDesign and build major multiplayer levels, within the project’s creative constraintsBring levels through every phase of development from concept to polishProactively communicate with all stakeholders to ensure a high quality of workDocument level design intentions to provide a clear and accessible resource for the teamIdentify and address potential risks, dependencies & constraints related to level design with other departments while maintaining AAA qualityIncorporate feedback from research and playtest data to achieve an excellent multiplayer experienceProvide and solicit feedback in a graceful, constructive manner, with suggestions and solutions for improvement to the game editor, processes and projectQualifications:You shipped at least one AAA title, have 5+ years experience in level design and:Experience in multiplayer shooter games as a level designer and/or an avid playerStrong layout and environment creation skillsExperience with visual scripting and level design toolsFamiliarity with advanced game engineApt at communicating design intentions to the teamWork with partners to implement upon a visionPrototype ideas and share those ideas with important partnersComfort and capability in creative and technical design discussionsInterest in the environmental aestheticsBreak down tasks and work with production to produce estimates and priorities.Work well in a multidisciplinary team, spanning artists, programmers, and designers.
