Your Role: You will report to the Embedded Software Team Leader and will develop features for an embedded system aimed at the broadcast market as well as contribute to the teams growth.Your tasks could include the following:Take ownership of various features during the release cycle.Produce quality code which addresses customers use cases.Make architecture design to improve maintainability.Engage with business and technology requirements in design & development.Review product requirements and provide estimates.Solve escalated issues from customer support.Participate in sprint planning and cross-functional company initiatives that foster collaboration.Level-up the team through code reviews and by creating reference codes. Mentor and coach junior developers through paired coding.Generate and implement process improvements,Improve product quality, security and performance.Experience and Skillset:10 or more years experience in software development, including 5 or more years in embedded systems.In-depth experience with C/C++. Experience with Python and Rust considered an asset. Other programming languages may be considered depending on experience Experience in embedded Linux development; experience with Yocto considered an asset.
