Details:
We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talentedComputer Science or Engineering Studentin our Geointelligence department at our Halifax office. This is an8-monthterm starting inSeptember, 2024.
The successful candidate will be a full member of an experience agile team designing and developing software for a signal processing system that is part of the international Square Kilometre Array (SKA) radio telescope project.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Python and C++ software including tests and tools
- Participate in team design and review activities
Experience and skills required:
Interested candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science or Engineering Science with three (3) years completed.
- Python

- Self-motivation in a team environment
- Docker
- Testing frameworks (e.g., pyest and GoogleTest)
- Software microservice architectures
- Signal processing
