Our expanding team is committed to fostering meaningful partnerships and driving sustainable progress, ensuring every project achieves its full potential.   Job Summary C3 Alliance is seeking a proactive individual with knowledge of British Columbia’s natural resource sector and a passion for innovative communications to join our team as Communications Manager in our Downtown Vancouver office.   As the Communications Manager at C3 Alliance you'll be responsible for crafting engaging content for conferences, newsletters, press releases, and social media, orchestrating internal communications, and supporting the planning and execution of top-tier events and conferences. Working closely with our President & CEO and our Events Director, you will develop and implement communication plans and strategies to maintain existing relationships as well as cultivate new connections with media, stakeholders, and key partners to enhance the C3 Alliance brand and reputation.   Join us and be part of an inspiring and supportive environment where you can make a tangible impact and contribute to our company vision of ‘building connections and strengthening communities’.   Key Responsibilities Lead all communications plans and strategies for events, conferences, and internal campaigns. Develop and implement branding and communications strategies to increase C3 Alliance’s profile within existing and new markets. Create and distribute engaging content for newsletters, press releases, websites, and social media. Coordinate internal communications, ensuring that company updates, achievements, and initiatives are effectively communicated to staff. Support the event planning team by contributing to event concepts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless communication before, during, and after events. Foster relationships with media, stakeholders, and partners to enhance the company's visibility and reputation. Monitor the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide insights and recommendations for enhancement. Collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment of communication efforts with overall company objectives.   Experience Bachelor's degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within the natural resource sector or a related industry. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (including Hootsuite, Mailchimp, GoDaddy, cPanel, WordPress, and Squarespace). Experience in media relations, social media management, and content creation. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Self-directed, highly motivated, and results-driven   Required Competencies Successful candidates must have:  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for storytelling. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to travel occasionally, for offsite conferences in Canada and the USA.  Familiarity with the complexities of the BC and Canadian natural resource sector and its media landscape is an asset.  Salary: Salary will range between $60,000-$90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Schedule: Full-Time in office position. Monday to Friday - 40hrs per week. Some travel and work may be required outside of the hours listed above for conferences.   Benefits: Competitive salary Extended health insurance Enhanced health and wellness benefits program RRSP matching program Professional development opportunities Competitive paid vacation and time off Flexible hybrid work schedule after probation period is over.   This job description is designed to outline the basic nature and scope of the work and does not limit the duties and responsibilities of the candidate. We encourage candidates who have an interest in this exciting opportunity to review the C3 Alliance, BC Natural Resources Forum, and Indigenous Resource Opportunities webpages.   How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter explaining their qualifications and interest in the position to careers@c3alliancecorp.ca.
