Do you want to work on really, really… really ridiculously good-looking construction projects?As a Communications Lead with reVerb, you will play a pivotal role in building relationships, delivering information, and creating materials for Edmontonians who live, work and drive near the biggest projects in our city’s history. This is a permanent, full-time position, with potential for a hybrid in-office and at-home work arrangement.But why reVerb?reVerb Communications is a boutique communications firm located in Edmonton, Canada. We specialize in communications and public engagement for capital infrastructure, especially LRT projects. We’ve helped manage the good and the bad on the Metro Line, both Valley Lines, and, coming up, the Capital Line. We’ve also worked with the City of Calgary on the Green Line and will soon join them to work through the next steps of the Blue Line.Who We Are Looking ForThe Communications Lead thinks proactively and strategically, and is able to quickly assess and address issues as they arise.Working closely within a small communications team, the Communications Lead will execute communications strategies under the direction of the Communications Director and is primarily responsible for developing and delivering communications tools and tactics that keep Edmontonians up-to-date about projects and project impacts. They will also provide support and guidance to other members of the reVerb team.The Communications Lead regularly interacts with the public, responding to inquiries and disseminating information via the project’s information line. They will play a pivotal role in developing communication tools to keep the public informed about the construction process, creating content for various channels.Attributes & QualificationsPost-secondary education in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field 3+ years progressive experience in a communications fieldStrong interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsCan ambi-turnPrevious experience in customer service and/or public inquiry management is a positiveAbility to work effectively with various disciplines and manage multiple projects simultaneously within timelinesPrevious experience working on construction/major projects is an assetRole & ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement communication strategies that align with project goals and target audiences.Lead the development of construction communication content for various platforms, ensuring it is engaging and consistent.Collaborate with technical experts to review materials for accuracy and timeliness.Lead public inquiry response process on behalf of the project, responding to all inquiries within the required timeframe and tracking them for reporting.Monitor public feedback channels and analyze data and trends to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and identify arising issues.Participate actively in a range of technical and team meetings, offering valuable insights and contributions.Design and develop a School for AntsMaintain a high degree of professionalism in all interactions with the public and team members.CompensationPlanned compensation will be at or above industry average for an intermediate-level practitioner. Final amount is negotiable based on experience.
