Main responsibilities :
Analyze and understand specifications and construction plans, validating all relevant project information.
Manage the project from A to Z, including documentation, participating in meetings, developing procurement strategies, meeting deadlines and budgets.
Production start-up, customer support, quality control.
Negotiate and award subcontracts.
Act as an intermediary between sales, estimating, production, delivery and administration.
Provide the necessary customer service throughout the project (before, during, and after sales).
Skills and qualifications :
Mandatory 2 years experience as a buyer or project manager of steel doors/frames and architectural hardware
DEC in project management or engineering an asset
Knowledge of market practices and construction projects
