Our Commercial Lines team is looking to add a Supervisor of Commercial Lines. The Supervisor of Commercial Lines, reporting to the Director of Commercial Lines, will have a unique opportunity to support employees within the Commercial Lines team, while working closely with other teams within the brokerage, including the leadership team. Commercial Lines Supervisor Job Summary: As the Commercial Lines Supervisor you would be responsible for supporting the employees in the day-to-day activities and the overall performance of the team. The Supervisor will coordinate team activities along with team leaders to ensure that all goals are met to the internal standards set by the brokerage. You will participate in discussions with brokers and other departments designed to maximize efficiency, while maintaining a positive work environment and fostering an effortless client experience. What you'll do: Respond to broker, insurer, and client inquiries Support staff by identifying strengths and developmental needs through active monitoring & coaching sessions Create individualized performance plans as needed Act as a technical and workflow resource for the team by maintaining a working knowledge of all applicable systems and internal workflows Handle and document the outcome of escalations and use the situation as a developmental and coaching opportunity to avoid similar future occurrences Evaluate performance results, provide feedback to teams, leaders, and managers Keep current on rates, forms, coverage changes through bulletins, trade publications, and seminars Comply with both regulatory and internal guidelines Maintain professional level of confidentiality and high standards of business ethics Comply with RIBO requirements for continuing education Who you are: RIBO license required CAIB Preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills Insurance management, supervisory or peer coaching experience an asset Professional demeanor and appearance Proficient in Office 365 and BMS We offer competitive compensation packages, including base salary plus commission, as well as comprehensive benefits.
