Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Director to join their team! The Director of Commercial Insurance is responsible for the operations and administration of the Commercial Lines department. Ideal candidate must have General Insurance Level 3 License and at least 8 years’ experience in commercial insurance.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assign monthly renewal lists to Marketing Brokers
  • Track and assign new business
  • Provide mentorship and conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports
  • Maintain strong relationship with current suppliers and build relationships with new suppliers
  • Develop new programs that align with the Company’s strategy

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial broking
  • Level 3 General Insurance License
  • CAIB, CIP or CRM designation is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills
