Our team has an immediate co-op opening for an Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications / libraries / services for the Android and/or Windows platform
- Collaborate with product, research and design teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with open source machine learning libraries for Android/Windows platform
- Write clean readable code and test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, performance, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Currently enrolled in a university and registered with the school’s co-op program(aminimum program length of 8 consecutivemonths is required)
- Solid understanding of Data Structure and Algorithm
- Strong coding skills in any of the high level languages (e.g. Java/C#/C++/Python, etc.)
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Relevant experience and strong interest in any of the following areas: Computer Vision, Human-computer Interaction, Human Factors, Machine Learning, Sensor, and Gesture
